Trail Maintenance Projects Continue Around the Iowa Great Lakes
5/31/2023 MAINTENANCE UPDATE:
- Crack sealing will continue on the West Okoboji Trail and is expected to be completed today.
- Construction has started on the 202nd Street trailhead south of Emerald Hills Golf Course. The trail and parking area will be closed for 2-3 weeks. Trail users can use the Nature Trails trail access south of this area to go around the trailhead and use street routes to 202nd Street.
- There will be tree trimming and brush clearing along the rail trail from the Dickinson County Fairgrounds going west to Highway 86 today and Thursday. The trail will be accessible but please be mindful of crews while they are working.
